Founded about ten years ago in Liège, Belgium, Viper stems from a long family tradition that began in 1913 with Arthur Brasseur. Originally, the Brasseur company manufactured household appliances and motorcycles but, very quickly, it ventured into bicycle manufacturing under the Diamond brand, to which Viper was later added under the impetus of Stéphane Brasseur — head of the group representing the fourth generation of the family — in order to complete the range. Focused on sport and competition with a mid- to high-end positioning in both Road and MTB, the Viper bikes are designed and assembled by hand in the Liège workshops, with the philosophy of finding the best compromise between performance, comfort, weight and enjoyment.
To ensure reliable and high-performing equipment, Viper sponsors various teams competing at the biggest sporting events in Belgium and France, whose feedback allows engineers to continually improve the quality of their models.
