How do I maintain my road bike cassette?
To ensure the longest possible service life for your transmissionit's essential to clean it regularly.

- Tools : Transmission degreaser | Narrow brush
Steps
- Run the cassette with a water jet.
- Apply degreaser then brush the cassette, insisting on brushing between the sprockets.
- Rinse under running water.
Once dry, lubricate your transmission. For cassettes with detachable sprockets (i.e. not monobloc cassettes), it's advisable to disassemble the cassette from time to time, especially if you ride regularly, for a thorough cleaning.
