How to fit road bike tyres?
Simple to do yourself, this operation also applies to replacing an inner tube following a puncture.

Steps
- Place the first bead of your tyre then the slightly pre-inflated inner tube, starting with the valve.
Probikeshop tip: make sure to respect the rolling direction of the tyre indicated on the sidewall.
- Then place the second bead of the tyre starting from the side opposite the valve, making sure not to pinch the inner tube between the tyre and the rim.
- Work the tyre bead from left to right all the way around the tyre so that it seats correctly, and check that the inner tube is properly in place.
- Inflate your tyre to the desired pressure and refit the wheel on the bike.
