Consisting of three layers, the Grand Prix 5000 is designed to combine performance, grip and resistance, without forgetting comfort. For exceptional road handling, the tire is designed with Lazer Grip technology. This set of small structures on the side of the tire ensures maximum grip even when cornering on wet roads. For optimum performance, Continental has reworked its Black Chill technology. 

In terms of resistance, the GP 5000 uses the Vectran Breaker, designed with synthetic fibers that make the tire highly resistant to punctures, with controlled weight.
