The rear wheel DT SWISS FR 1500 CLASSIC was developed to withstand the most demanding stresses encountered in downhill and freeride riding. Its architecture prioritises strength and durability in order to absorb repeated impacts, heavy compressions and committed landings. Thanks to its new rim profile, it combines robustness and weight reduction for more dynamic behaviour on the trail.

Made from aluminium, the rim features localised reinforcements that increase its resistance to impacts. The redesigned sidewalls also improve protection against pinch flats, an essential point for riders tackling rough terrain. This design maintains excellent stability while minimising interruptions caused by mechanical incidents.

The wheel is fitted with the DT Swiss 240 hub combined with Ratchet EXP 36 technology. This combination ensures reliable and durable power transmission, even in the most demanding conditions. The DT Competition® spoke lacing with DT ProLock nipples helps maintain spoke tension over time and preserve the overall stiffness of the wheel.
