How does the chain tension system work on the HSX AL? This is one of the frame's major strengths. The rear wheel slots into a fixed thru-axle that never moves forwards or backwards. Chain tension adjustment is carried out via a highly precise integrated tensioner system. This means that even if you change your sprocket ratio or remove your wheel, your disc brake always remains perfectly aligned and your bike's behaviour does not change.

What type of fork should be paired with this frame? As the head tube is tapered (Tapered), it is strongly recommended to use a fork with a tapered steerer (1-1/8" at the top, 1.5" at the bottom), whether in carbon or Chromoly.
