Description

The frame Meybo HSX AL 2026 is a true revolution for riders who seek the cutting-edge innovations of the top-of-the-range carbon model (HSX Carbon), but who prefer the versatility and unique feel of aluminium. Designed for competition at the highest level, this frame is made from premium-quality aluminium with hydroformed tubes of variable wall thickness, offering a perfect balance between maximum lightness and structural rigidity.

The great strength of the HSX AL series is that it integrates the exclusive features of the carbon version, notably the moulded tapered head tube and Meybo's renowned fixed rear axle system. This frame sports a unique "Factory" look that is ultra-dynamic and will certainly stand out on every start gate.

What is the difference between the Meybo Holeshot and this HSX AL model? Although both frames are made from aluminium, the HSX AL is a more advanced model. It takes on the design and technological integration of the brand's top-of-the-range carbon model. Unlike the Holeshot, the HSX AL integrates Meybo's fixed and closed rear axle system along with an even more aggressive and rigid geometry, directly modelled on the World Cup race bike.

How does the chain tension system work on the HSX AL? This is one of the frame's major strengths. The rear wheel slots into a fixed thru-axle that never moves forwards or backwards. Chain tension adjustment is carried out via a highly precise integrated tensioner system. This means that even if you change your sprocket ratio or remove your wheel, your disc brake always remains perfectly aligned and your bike's behaviour does not change.

What type of fork should be paired with this frame? As the head tube is tapered (Tapered), it is strongly recommended to use a fork with a tapered steerer (1-1/8" at the top, 1.5" at the bottom), whether in carbon or Chromoly. This locks the entire front end for surgical steering precision in corners and over jumps.
