Compatible with Cyclo 64 but ...

"Worked on the "Cyclo 64" 4-speed freewheel that I had to disassemble. However, the lugs didn't fit perfectly into the freewheel until I removed the sprockets. If you leave only the body screwed onto the wheel, everything's OK and you can disassemble. If you keep the freewheel intact, you'll probably have to machine the lugs."

Sturdy, need adjustment for cyclo wheels

"Solid tool, you need to plan on adjusting it to the disc for disassembling the cyclo wheels otherwise the lugs don't fit well into the disassembly notches."

Great for unlocking an old Cyclo freewheeler

"I had a well-locked freewheel. In place since the 80s (little used). Provided I could find the right lever arm (see photo), it worked like a charm: - use of a wrench - locking of the tool on the freewheel by means of the wheel quick-release - metal tube to make the lever arm. The tool didn't break! I'm only giving it four stars for a slight drawback: the wrench slot doesn't allow me to use a socket wrench (for which I would have had everything I needed to get the right lever arm)."

VAR freewheel dismantler

"Perfectly meets my expectations, decent product".

It looks solid.

"I work on an old bike that has a Cyclo 72 freewheel. So I bought this essential tool. It works great, but I find there's a bit of play in the lugs. To be used with a 24 wrench (preferably long to get more torque)."

Mano09 (4/5)

Fragile dewclaws

"The freewheels are so tight that the lugs deteriorate quickly. I had taken a few precautions. I was able to loosen one of them, but on the second one the tool got damaged. They need to be a little wider".

Gbel57 (3/5)

does its job

"nothing to complain about, good value for money and super strong".

Anonymous (5/5)

indispensable tool for dismantling vintage cassette

"I bought this tool to disassemble a Regina 80s cassette. It was necessary to hold the tool in position with the help of the quick release but afterwards the cassette was disassembled very easily. Inexpensive but very useful. I recommend it for handling old bikes."
