Description
The HOPE PRO 5 hub is the new benchmark from British brand HOPE, combining robustness, performance and reliability. Designed to meet the demands of modern mountain biking, it succeeds the highly acclaimed Pro 4 with a host of improvements. The Pro 5 retains HOPE's trademark CNC aluminum construction, while offering a redesigned architecture for even greater efficiency.
Among the major new features is a faster freewheel mechanism with 108 engagement points distributed over 6 pawls operating in pairs (depending on the model, 54 points on the steel and E-Bike). This provides an almost instantaneous response to each pedal stroke, offering greater precision and control, especially on technical climbs or when relaunching.
The Pro 5 also boasts improved sealing and a significant reduction in internal resistance, thanks to a new, optimized joint system. The result is a smoother, more durable hub, ideal for committed riding such as enduro, trail or XC.
