Description
The HOPE TECH 4 EVO X2 FM brake is the ultimate evolution of the renowned Tech 4 master cylinder, designed to deliver a perfect feel and total control of braking power. Machined from a 2014 T6 aluminium block, the TECH 4 EVO master cylinder integrates a new piston, an optimised floating head, a revised cam, a second guide ring and three new levers, guaranteeing precise and personalised control for every rider. The lever pivot rests on two ball bearings, providing smooth and durable action, whilst the adjustment dials allow the bite point and reach to be fine-tuned to individual preferences.
The X2 calliper, in Flat-Mount standard with a 34mm bolt spacing, is machined as a single unit for increased rigidity and reduced weight. Its two 22 mm phenolic resin pistons (reference HBSP235) deliver power suited to light applications such as downcountry and XC, whilst maintaining excellent performance at high temperatures. This configuration provides precise modulation and control, ideal for long rides and varied terrain.
The aviation hose with a 5 mm diameter and 2 m length ensures simple and reliable installation. The brake comes with two types of pads: Racing (green) for maximum performance and All Conditions (red) for versatile use, making it easy to adapt to each riding style and trail conditions.
