Description

Used in World Cup XC by some of the discipline's best riders, including David Valero (world top 10), the HUTCHINSON Skeleton 29x2.15 tubeless ready with soft bead wire is an ultra-high-performance model designed for competition use only. Cross-Country on dry terrain.

Even more extreme than the Python 2, the Skeleton will delight riders eager for performance and reactivity, thanks to a 53 mm cross-section offering a gain in deformation and lateral support conducive to aggressive, committed riding. The tread has been designed for optimum performance, always in contact with the ground, while the progressive intermediate and lateral studs provide safety and are particularly useful on wide rims.

With its flexible, lightweight 127 TPI carcass, the Skeleton is ideal for both front and rear mounting.

Reviews

I've never

"I've never had as many flats as I have with this tire!! On dry, rocky terrain, on wet singletrack... in short, its only advantage is its light weight... at the expense of its reliability."

Cyrille D. (2/5)

Bad experience

"The sidewall burst when I rode down from the curb; I don't recommend it. You're better off buying a Kraken or another model from Hutchinson."

Tom9876543 (2/5)

Poor-quality tire

"During installation, several holes appeared on the sidewall; the puncture-resistant compound sealed them, but for a new product, that's not ideal—you can't ride on it."

Nadetmanu (1/5)

good tire for dry conditions

"A good tire that performs well in both dry and wet conditions. Personally, I only inflate it to 1.6 bar for my 72-kilogram weight, and it's very comfortable."

Marsupilami66 (4/5)

Excellent on dry, flat terrain

"This tire performs exceptionally well on dry surfaces and on relatively smooth terrain, as the sidewalls are very fragile. I recommend them, but be careful depending on where you ride."
