The HUTCHINSON Touareg 650x47c Hardskin Tubeless Folding tyre was developed to allow maximum versatility.

By combining all its Road and MTB expertise, the brand has created a durable, high-performing, grippy tyre capable of following you all around the world. An evolution of the Overdrive model, the Touareg features larger and more widely distributed knobs, for exceptional protection and grip

Despite this, the tyre maintains excellent rolling efficiency on the road. Grouped into "small-blocks", its numerous small knobs guarantee incomparable comfort and speed, on both rolling and more demanding sections.

This tyre features a lightweight and supple 127 TPI casing. It is also reinforced with the Hardskin belt running from bead to bead. Combined with a thick compound, this reinforcement already proven in Cross-Country protects you against stones, pebbles and other sharp surfaces you will encounter during your Gravel rides.

Excellent high-volume Gravel tire

"Perfect Gravel tire for Cannondale Slate. I was afraid it would be too tight as the frame is given for 42mm. It fits perfectly but it's the max. Good performance on the road because of small studs and no vibration. Very good grip on trails, except for greasy mud of course. Very supple and comfortable in brittle conditions with pressures around 2. 3/2. 5 .... Good build quality and solid appearance. Comparable to a Schwalbe G-One, but with much greater volume, making it ideal for the rough terrain that the Slate appreciates. Made in France. Really a very good tire for the burly Gravel rider."

Better than a mountain bike tire

"I use it on a 2nd pair of rims on my suit for velotaf. Top on forest roads, a little less so on cycle paths. It's still a big tt tire and the performance isn't as good as a real road tire, but it's netement better than a mountain bike tire."
