Are they suitable for summer despite the waterproof membrane? Thanks to their 10K breathability, they vent heat well, but they will remain warmer than a highly ventilated shoe. They are ideal for temperate climates or mountain rides where the weather changes quickly.

Is the cable closure system durable? Yes, the MOZ system is designed to withstand rock strikes and mud. If it breaks, it is replaceable. It allows millimetre-precise adjustment with no pressure points.

Can you walk in these shoes? The outsole is stiff for pedalling, but Leatt has included flex zones at the toe and heel to allow pushing the bike during hike-a-bike sections without slipping, thanks to the deep lugs.

Which pedals work best with them? They are compatible with all 2-bolt cleats (Shimano SPD, Crankbrothers, Time, Hope). The wide channel makes clipping in much easier, even when the pedal is caked in mud.
