Description

Originally developed with Danny MacAskill for MT7 brakes, this MAGURA HC3 lever lever features a "one-finger" design, and offers several adjustment possibilities. Each rider can simply adjust both the guard and the ratio, using an Allen and Torx wrench.

This aluminum model is compatible with the following MAGURA brakes: MT6, MT7, MT8, MT Trail Carbon brakes.

"The price tag is definitely steep, but... I don't regret a single penny of the investment! I used to ride Shimano SAINT, and I couldn't find the right fit with the MT7s, which I also found to be a bit mushy. . . Very simple installation; they don’t have a dial for adjustment, but at the same time, that’s one less thing that could break if they fall, and you don’t adjust your levers every two minutes anyway. I’ve read here and there that these levers aren’t for people with big hands unless you like ON/OFF braking. I’m 6’4” with hands to match, and I love the ON/OFF feel. The MT7s have been transformed—they bite right at the tip of your finger, just how I like it, but you can modulate the pressure as much as you want. That little adjustment that controls the lever angle is magic!"

"Top-notch. I've rediscovered my MT7 brakes, which I was already completely satisfied with! Precise and long-lasting adjustment / progressive feel / much more bite... It's a bit of a surprise at first—you have to get used to these levers! Great finish—the fit is perfect, there’s no play at all! The finger grip feels secure. Very expensive, but once you try them, there’s no going back!"

"I bought these for more versatility on my MT7s. The difference between before and after is truly incredible. The levers are slightly thinner (which is what I was looking for, and of course, one-finger braking). The most interesting adjustment is the lever pull ratio and the force applied to the disc. In short, if you’re like me—a stickler for feel and adjustments—don’t hesitate; you’re sure to find the setting that suits you!"
