Pair of HOPE TECH 4 V4 Aviation Black brakes

The legendary English brand HOPE is renewing its range, with a new pair of brakes. Tech 4 V4 Braided brakes get a facelift for 2022. The new brake is designed to go for lap times in Downhill. 

After 7 years of loyal service, the Tech3 is giving way to something new. With an excellent compromise between power and precision, it enables riders to measure out braking perfectly to avoid losing time on braking too long or too hard. In short, this brake is made for the podium. 

The Tech4 V4 is 30% more powerful than the Tech 3 thanks to an optimized brake lever. Instead of springs, the levers are fitted with bearings for better bite and power. The new lever features numerous adjustments for a completely modifiable feel.

As for the caliper, which is connected to the master cylinder by a braided hose, nothing has changed. The block is forged from aluminum, which facilitates brake cooling (coupled with a hope floating disc for remarkable performance). The very large pistons enable progressive or aggressive brake application, depending on the rider's needs and expectations. The brake is fully adjustable, and that's its strength!
