The stem Pride Racing FTL in the 22.2 mm version is the classic variant of the French brand's celebrated stem. Designed to offer an excellent balance between lightness, rigidity and design, it is specifically engineered to accommodate all standard market handlebars with a diameter of 22.2 mm (in Chromoly steel or Aluminium).
Fully CNC machined from a block of 6061-T6 aluminium, this Top Load stem features extensive hollowing work to eliminate unnecessary surplus material. It delivers optimal steering precision and a resolutely high-end look to riders of all levels.
What is the difference between this model and the FTL HD version? The main difference lies in the handlebar clamping diameter. This model is 22.2 mm (classic standard), while the HD version is 31.8 mm (Oversize). This classic model is generally lighter and offers a much wider choice of handlebars.
Is it compatible with carbon handlebars? Yes, provided the carbon handlebar has a clamping zone with a standard diameter of 22.2 mm. Simply make sure to use a torque wrench to respect the clamping torques required for carbon.
What type of rider is it aimed at? It is suitable for all riders, from young riders developing their skills to adults, who are looking for a high-performance, stylish and lightweight stem without needing to switch to a full Oversize system.
