Description
The DT SWISS EXC 1500 CLASSIC rear wheel was developed to withstand the most demanding stresses encountered in enduro riding. Its Carbon rim features a specific design aimed at maximising impact resistance while minimising rotational mass. This architecture produces a robust and responsive wheel, capable of absorbing repeated compressions, landings and accelerations on the most committing stages.
To reinforce the overall strength, the rear wheel uses a 32 DT CompLite® spoke build, higher than that of the front wheel. This configuration improves lateral stiffness and overall resistance under heavy loads. The asymmetric rim with a 30 mm internal width provides excellent tyre retention and better stability during fast cornering or technical sections.
The heart of the wheel is the DT Swiss 240 hub equipped with the Ratchet DEG 90 system. This freehub with 90 points of engagement delivers rapid power transfer and immediate responsiveness when accelerating. The DF Technology also helps to limit pedal kickback, improving bike control on rough terrain.
