Saddle BROOKS CAMBIUM C15 Black

The BROOKS C15 Saddle is the "narrow" model in the Cambium family, designed specifically for a sportier, more committed riding position. If the C17 is the queen of the velotaf, the C15 is for cyclosportifs and Gravel enthusiasts who spend long hours with their hands at the bottom of the handlebars.

Its 140 mm width allows for totally fluid leg movement, eliminating any risk of rubbing on the inside of the thighs during fast pedaling. Like its siblings, it's based on vulcanized natural rubber technology: a flexible structure that acts like an integrated shock absorber, filtering out irregularities on the road or trail. Its technical coating is designed to last a lifetime, resisting UV and humidity without ever losing its shape.

C15 or C17, how to choose? The choice depends on your position. If your handlebars are significantly lower than your saddle, the C15 is ideal, as it supports the pins without impeding movement. If you ride more upright (urban position), the C17 will be more comfortable.

Is it slippery with shorts? The textured nylon lining offers excellent grip. You won't slide forward, even during hard braking or intense uphill efforts, while still allowing for micro-adjustments in position.

Is it suitable for women? The C15 is a unisex saddle. However, for the female anatomy, we often recommend the C17 (wider) or the "Carved" versions to relieve pressure. It all depends on the width of your hipbones.

Is the saddle rigid? It feels firm to the touch, but as soon as you sit down, the structure works. It's this controlled flexibility that makes Brooks Cambium saddles stand out from rigid plastic saddles with foam.
