Description

The SCHWALBE Racing Ralph tire is the perfect combination of grip and speed. Designed for rear mounting, it's ideal for use with the Rocket Ron or Racing Ray at the front, to create the optimum combination for racing. Cross-Country.

Further improved on previous versions, this new generation features a low-center profile for greater speed and lighter weight, and the Addix Speed compound for extremely low rolling resistance.

Its distinct side blocks provide excellent grip in curves, while its numerous grip sections in the center of the tread provide optimal traction and excellent acceleration.

The Super Ground model combines lightness and stability. At ease on all terrains, it adapts easily to trails, long rides and all types of ground. What's more, it ensures a balanced ratio between puncture protection and easy rolling.

The Snakeskin fabric reinforcement provides excellent sidewall protection against sharp stones, while weighing in at just a few dozen grams.

Perfect

"Super tire tested wet and dry. Good grip. Glides normally on large wet round stones. Fitted the specific Swchalbes Av and Ar set, for impeccable behaviour. I'll lower the pressure further to 1.3 Av and 1.5 Ar to improve comfort and grip. Once I got to grips with them, they were very safe".

Fast, but beware of intended use

"Rear-mounted in addition to a Racing Ray 2. 25, good performance and good'E traction on dry or slightly damp ground. After 700km, visible stud wear, one stud torn off, bead wire visible, consolidated with glue. In short, light tire, good performance, more fragile than a Maxxis Minion dhr, reserved for dry and not too brittle use, XC."

What a performance... ... But how fragile!!!

"Received early January, with a Magic Mary for the front . . thank you ProbikeShop for the speed! Ok, insane performance and great grip when riding on dry, rocky terrain ... . But 10 rides under its belt and 6 weeks later: 1 stud torn off with a piece of carcass. ... Walked home, tire out. . . All-mountain use in the South of France (lots of rocks, but not a field of stones either!). I'm going to change brands for the rear because 45 euros a month: that's expensive! :-)"

Good touring tire

"Great tire that works well in the dry but does well in the wet too"

Samy (5/5)

I recommend

"You're a good rear tire on dry, stony ground".
