Description

The Front Brake SHIMANO SAINT M820 is the preferred choice of Gravityoffering ultimate braking power and nuanced modulation in all conditions.

Designed for rugged terrain, it is equipped with BL-M820 with adjustable reach Reach Adjust and platelet attack adjustment, as well as I-SPEC B. This adjustment makes it possible to adapt the distance between the handle and the lever, to suit all hand sizes and riding preferences for optimal braking.

This hydraulic disc brake features a rigid 4-piston ceramic caliper and the ICE TECHNOLOGIEStechnology, which reduces heat build-up for constant braking, preventing slackening during intense, prolonged descents. The action SERVOWAVE action brings the brake pads into rapid contact with the rotor, multiplying braking power for greater control with less lever movement.

Its robust design and advanced features make it an essential choice for the Downhill and demanding disciplines, guaranteeing safe, high-performance braking.

╝FEATURES
► Safety on rough terrain: designed for downhill and demanding disciplines
► J-KIT: The J-Kit system facilitates the passage of the brake hose inside the frame, with a simplified connection to the caliper and a pre-mounted olive, for quick and easy installation
► I-SPEC: Integrated mounting system for shifter and brake lever, offering a sleek look, more space on the handlebar and increased lightness
► ICE TECHNOLOGIES: Shimano ICE TECHNOLOGIES components reduce heat build-up, ensuring constant braking and preventing slacking during intense, prolonged descents
► Reach Ajust: Brake lever with reach adjustment lets you adjust the distance between grip and lever, adapting to all hand sizes and riding preferences for optimal braking and shifting
► SERVOWAVE action: SERVOWAVE lever enables rapid pad contact with the rotor, then multiplies braking power for increased control with less lever movement
► ONE WAY BLEEDING: System designed to prevent air bubbles in the hydraulic circuit, ensuring fast, clean bleeding thanks to a unidirectional oil path and funnel-shaped tool
► FREE STROKE: Adapt the gap between initial lever position and pad contact point according to hand size, type of practice and personal╔ preferences.

Does the job

"I bought this to equip my e-bike for mountain riding"

Bab-78 (4/5)

Good brakes for downhill

"Nothing more to say—easy to install and bleed. It stops hard, but I find the lever travel a bit long despite the available adjustment."

Bob (5/5)

Great brakes and a killer look

"I received my new Saints brakes quickly to replace my seized SLX brakes and installed them right away. I bled the system because the lever was hitting the end of its travel on the handlebar. After bleeding, the performance wasn't always great: the lever travel was too long. After doing some research online, I flushed oil through the closed-loop caliper to bring the pistons closer together. Since then, performance has been outstanding. After a very short break-in period, paired with my RT86 rotors, they brake incredibly hard. As for the price: well, that’s the price of quality ;-)"

Tipote62 (5/5)

Opinion

"Excellent brake, high quality, but you'll need to cut the hose because it's too long."

Edwards (5/5)

Top

"The best brakes on the market: power and endurance."

Ridemu (5/5)

The Best in Braking

"It's a real workhorse—absolutely top-notch in tough conditions. It brakes consistently, and the modulation is just wonderful. I highly recommend it, even if it is a bit pricey."

Fabtrail67 (5/5)

. . . In a velvet glove.

"For someone who hasn't mastered all the ins and outs of riding but occasionally ventures down treacherous descents, these brakes provide a sense of security and, when used properly, make the ride less likely to end in an accident."

Bozzzzo (5/5)

Nothing

"Very good brakes with metal pads; otherwise, easy to bleed"

Warcram92 (5/5)

top-notch brakes

"A very powerful and durable brake, ideal for downhill riding. Easy to install and bleed (be sure to have the Shimano kit and funnel on hand, along with some brake fluid in case an air bubble gets in). Wear and tear is very reasonable."

Gasgas43 (5/5)

What a great brake!

"I can confirm that its reputation is well-deserved. It really is a brake that stops the car firmly yet smoothly—exactly what I was looking for. Just make sure to break it in properly at first."
