Description

The SHIMANO SLX RD-M7100-SGS 12-Speed Rear Derailleur is designed for the single chainring 12-speed drivetrain from the SLX 7100 range, and especially for those who want versatile equipment at an excellent value for money.

With the Shadow RD+ design, this derailleur is better protected against impacts, offering improved durability. The angle is also optimised for a perfect chain line. An easily adjustable Bump Stopper chain stabiliser will also help you gain precision and smoothness during gear shifts. Furthermore, the ground clearance is higher for extra comfort on rough terrain, and the tension is lower on the small chainring for optimum efficiency.

It’s a shame it wasn’t shipped in the original Shimano packaging but in a simple paper bag (just like the chain and cassette I ordered at the same time). Not ideal in case the package gets dropped during delivery. (Note: the derailleur does not come with the hanger used to attach it to the frame)"
