Description

The SRAM rear brake Code R rear brakes offer super-powerful braking, making them ideal for MTB practice! It can also be fitted to a MTB with electric assistance, whose greater weight requires a super-efficient braking system.

Made from forged aluminum, the Code R features 4 oversized pistons, even larger than those on the Guide. It benefits from Heat Shield technology, which reduces heat transfer from the pad to its body during braking, for even more effective high-temperature management. The caliper is also compatible with the Bleeding Edge kit, which facilitates hydraulic bleeding operations.

The Matchmaker X-compatible lever features a tool-free adjustable lever guard. Above all, it features the Swing Link which helps eliminate the dead zone of braking while preserving dosage, for a precise, powerful yet progressive feel.

"Impossible to get working , no strength in braking I asked you for a return, or I have no answers"

The power is there

"I bought this item to replace the original R guides on my mountain bike, which I found a little soft. The difference in power is clear. We'll see the endurance this summer in the bike park."

Doudc (5/5)

Super brakes

"After two months of testing, I can say that I'm fully satisfied with these brakes. It brakes hard, yet remains progressive! It squeaks a little when it rains..."

Giluce (5/5)

Nothing to do with the first AVID generations

"A copy of the Guides, nothing more. The levers lack rigidity and the bearings are minimal. Nullissimo and random lever adjustment. I have the first 2 models at the time of the AVID brand, I would switch to Hope from now on."
