Description

The EXAFORM Jag-i dropper seatpost is a model with an unbeatable value for money to get started in All-mountain, Trail or Enduro riding.

Derived from the Kind Shox brand, it offers an efficient solution to meet the expectations of occasional riders. It is equipped with a handlebar-mounted remote and is also very robust thanks to its aluminium construction.

Furthermore, the cable routing is internal to give the bike a clean look (depending on frame compatibility). It is distinguished from the 900 version by its lighter and smoother hydraulic cartridge.

It's a good product in itself,

"It's a good product in itself—smooth and no play. Installation wasn't easy, with the cable end on the seatpost side. After a crash, the part that holds the cable end broke, likely due to excessive tension in the cable. After replacing it, it turned out that the lift cartridge had been damaged; I couldn’t get a replacement for the cartridge, which is no longer under warranty since I bought it two and a half years ago."

Well

"The instructions are a bit sparse, but it's not really that complicated."

Fredm (4/5)

Good value for money

"Installed without any issues on a Lapierre XC 300 that came pre-equipped with a cable outlet on the frame above the motor. The cable housing was more than long enough (15 cm extra). The seatpost bolts were too long, so I used the original ones. Works well. A plus for the control unit, which can be mounted on the left or right. No installation instructions, however. Start on the handlebar side without attaching it to the handlebars."

Unbeatable value for money

"Not enough information for assembly . . . Follow the very well-done ProBikeShop tutorial . . ."

Alvaxavi (5/5)

As expected

"The product meets expectations. Don't rely on the instructions (which are very general) for help with installation."

Stanvds (5/5)

A superb seatpost that moves very smoothly

"A fantastic dropper post—it moves very smoothly and lifts up really well. Make sure to route the cable properly to ensure it works correctly. However, the instructions are useless, and without YouTube, it’s impossible to install it correctly. If they’d revised that, it would have earned 5 stars. Installation time: about 1 hour."

satisfaction

"Product meets specifications and is easy to assemble"

Jeepka (5/5)

No assembly instructions

"The rod is fine. Too bad there's nothing in French on the website. Luckily, there are tutorials online for other brands."
