Description
The Topeak Weight Scale is a high-precision digital scale designed for exclusive use with PrepStand workshop stands (Pro, Elite, Race). Instead of using an unstable scale or an inaccurate bathroom scale, this module integrates directly into the top of your workshop stand.
It can weigh complete bikes, individual components or bare frames. Its clear digital display and sturdy construction make it the ideal tool for comparing weights before and after modifications, or for checking that a bike complies with the weight limits of certain competitions (UCI).
Can I use it without a Topeak workshop stand? This model is specifically designed to fit into the PrepStand tube. For "hands-free" use, it is preferable to use the Digital Weight Scale model (with hook) also available from Topeak.
Is it sturdy enough for daily use in the store? Yes, it's designed to withstand the rigors of a workshop. The case is solid and the electronics are protected against light shocks.
Does it switch itself off? Yes, it has an automatic switch-off function to save batteries if you forget to switch it off after a weighing session.
