The Wolf Tooth MKØ Centerlock internal spline nut is the ideal part for road, gravel or MTB assemblies using 12 mm axles or quick releases. Part of the new MKØ precision collection, this nut is designed for cyclists looking for perfect integration and minimum weight.
CNC machined from high-strength 7075-T6 aluminum, it offers a clean, precise clamping interface. Its internal design allows the use of the standard disc tool, offering an extremely clean look as the tool fits inside the nut, revealing only its smooth, anodized face once installed.
When should I choose the "internal" version rather than the "external" one? Choose the internal version if you're using a 12 mm axle (standard on most modern road and gravel bikes) or a QR axle. This is the more aesthetic version, as the nut is more compact. If your axle is larger (15 mm), the tool won't fit, so you'll need the "external" version.
Which tool to use? This is one of the great advantages: it uses the same tool as the one used to disassemble your cassette. No need to buy an additional special tool.
Is it compatible with discs from other brands (SRAM, Magura...)? Absolutely. It's compatible with all discs using the Centerlock mounting standard, whatever the brand of disc or hub.
